Requisites for an Exorcist…

When I asked a world-renowned Exorcist priest what he considered the most important requisites for  choosing an Exorcist,   his answer was both surprising and moving. He said one must seek out a priest with very special credentials.

This priest should be one

• who genuinely believes that God exists and the Devil does, too.
• who believes in the true and palpable difference between Good & Evil.
• who joined the priesthood to save souls, not to be a political strategist
• who is willing to lay his life on the line to do battle to rescue a beleaguered soul.

I loved that list. It sounded to me  as if Evil might have a hell of a  hard time beating that formidable a combination of virtues!
