Saving the Soul of the World

Chief Arvol Looking HorseChief Arvol Looking Horse, Lakota Sioux Visionary and Prophecy Keeper of the White Buffalo Pipe, has a powerful message for all of us, one that leaves no doubt about the role assigned to us in these chaotic and dangerous times.  The simple dynamic beauty of his words really touched me so I’d like to pass them on.  I don’t know how anyone could give us our marching orders with more poetic power.

“Each of us is put here in this time and this place to personally decide the future of humankind.  Did you think that Creator would create unnecessary people in a time of such terrible danger?

“Know that you yourself are essential to this World.  Believe that!  Understand both the blessing and the burden of that.  You yourself are desperately needed to save the soul of this World.  Did you think you were put here for something less?”

I think Chief Arvol Looking Horse is PERFECT for the role in Paint The Wind when it comes to the big or small screen. I also think that if he has no acting experience, that will actually enhance the outcome because he will be “acting” like a true American Indian.

You’re so right, Gerry. He is an archetype and perfect for the role. Let’s hope next year is the year for it!
